Refund Policy

This document explains when we refund a HamikVPN subscription payment, within what timeframe, and how to request one. We aim to handle refunds fairly and review each case individually.

1. General

HamikVPN (the "service", "we") provides access to a VPN by subscription. Payments are accepted and processed by the payment provider Platega; your bank card details are handled by the provider — we do not receive or store them. The HamikVPN service is provided by an individual acting as a sole service provider, without a registered legal entity. This policy applies to subscription payments made via the hamik.site website, the user dashboard and the HamikVPN mobile app.

2. When a refund is possible

We refund a payment if the service was technically unavailable due to our fault and we were unable to fix the issue within a reasonable time. This includes, for example:

  • the subscription was charged but access to the VPN was never granted (an error on our side);
  • the service was unavailable on all servers for an extended period for a reason within our control (infrastructure outage, app bug) and we were unable to restore it;
  • a duplicate charge for the same subscription period due to a technical error.

In these cases you can request a refund within 14 days of the payment. We will review the request and, if the issue is confirmed and caused by our fault, refund the money using the same method you paid with, via Platega.

3. When a refund is not issued

A refund is generally not issued if:

  • the subscription was already active and you used the service — no refund is given for the period already used; a refund for the unused remainder may be possible only for justified reasons (see section 2);
  • the service is unavailable for reasons outside our control: restrictions or blocks on the side of your internet provider or country, issues with your device or home network, or actions of third parties;
  • you personally violated the terms of use, resulting in your account being blocked;
  • you simply changed your mind without any technical issue with the service — the free 3-day trial exists precisely so you can evaluate the service before paying.

4. How to request a refund

To request a refund, contact support: @HamikVPNSupportBot on Telegram, or the email address listed in your dashboard. Please include:

  • the email or Telegram account the subscription is registered to;
  • the date and approximate amount of the payment (and, if possible, the transaction ID from your Platega receipt);
  • a description of the issue: what did not work and when.

We review requests within a reasonable time, typically within 5 business days. We may ask for additional information to verify the request.

5. How the refund is processed

Approved refunds are issued using the same method you paid with, via the payment provider Platega. The time it takes for the funds to appear depends on your bank or payment system and typically takes from a few business days up to a few weeks — this is governed by the provider and the card-issuing bank, not by the service.

6. Auto-renewal and automatic charges

There is no auto-renewal: your card is never stored, and nothing is charged automatically. When the paid period ends, access simply pauses until you pay for the next period yourself — in the dashboard, the app, or the Telegram bot. The end of a paid period is not grounds for a refund for that period.

7. Disputes and chargebacks

If you have questions about a charge, please contact us directly first — we try to resolve issues quickly and without unnecessary formalities. Disputing a payment directly with your bank (a chargeback) without contacting us first may take longer and does not guarantee a faster resolution.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The current version is always available on this page; the last-updated date is shown at the top.
